The Story So Far

Innerbloom Studio founder, Hayley, web designer based in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

Innerbloom Studio grew from a life spent helping people feel seen, supported and capable. First in the classroom, then in the community and now through design.

For nine years, I worked as a primary school teacher, guiding young learners through creativity, confidence, and the joy of discovering new things. From there, I moved into managing a local youth charity here in Hawke's Bay, where I saw firsthand just how powerful it is when a story truly resonates within a community.

When I had my youngest, life shifted again, and I began freelancing from home. What started with small local projects across Napier and Hastings quickly bloomed into something bigger. Soon I was designing and creating for clients across New Zealand, Australia and Canada, honing my craft in web design, branding and digital strategy with every single project. That experience gave me the confidence and the push I needed to take the plunge and launch something entirely my own: a bespoke web design studio built on everything I'd mastered along the way.

That space became Innerbloom Studio. A web design studio based in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, where every website I create is personal, intentional, and full of character. I work with small businesses, freelancers and entrepreneurs who've built something worth sharing and want an online presence that reflects it. From website design and search engine optimisation to social media graphics and Google Ads, everything I do is built around helping your brand show up as its most authentic, unmistakably-you self.

Innerbloom isn't about being the loudest. It's about being alive.

It's about helping small businesses bloom in their own way, whether they're based in Hawke's Bay, Auckland, Kawau Island or halfway across the globe.

That’s the story so far, and it’s only just beginning.

When I'm not building beautiful things for my clients, you'll usually find me out exploring everything this gorgeous country has to offer. Give me a random waterfall, a walking track I've never done (or done over and over again), or a tiny town I've only ever driven past and I'm in. There's always something new to find, and I love that about where we live.

Good food is a big part of my life too. I'll drive twenty minutes out of the way for a cafe someone’s mentioned to me and I’m always looking at the menus days before our booking. I love discovering local gems, trying new flavours, and sharing a meal with friends and family.

Creativity runs through most of what I do, whether that's making art in my spare time, doodling on Procreate, getting stuck into a new project, or spending time in the kitchen baking while listening to whatever suits the mood.

Innerbloom Values

Every business needs somewhere to grow from. For Innerbloom, that's these four things below.
These values shape how I design, how I talk to clients, and how I run this studio.

A two way street

Great work rarely happens in isolation. You and your team are the expert on your business and I’m the expert on turning that into something people fall for online. When we combine the two, that's where the magic happens. So expect questions, expect check ins, expect to feel like a part of the process rather than someone waiting on a surprise reveal.

Styled with intention

Gorgeous is great. Gorgeous and strategic is even better. Every colour, every layout choice, every word on your site earns its place by doing something, drawing the eye, building trust, guiding your clients. You're getting a website that looks incredible, performs seamlessly and works hard behind the scenes.

Honesty, always

No vague timelines, no mystery invoices, no jargon dressed up to sound impressive. From your very first enquiry, you'll know what's happening, what it costs, and what happens next. I’d rather have an honest conversation with you early than an awkward one later. Clear from the start means confidence the whole way through.

Easy to reach

A launched website isn't a finish line, it's an opening. Things change, your business grows, and I’m here to be a part of your next chapter too. Whether it's a seasonal refresh, a new service to add or just a check in to see how things are tracking. I’m never far away and always happy to help. Ongoing support is there whenever you need.
